We have a full developmental program with appropriate training for wrestlers from beginner to novice to advanced in this age group (3rd grade and under). We begin teaching leadership here. As our wrestlers are expected to help their new teammates and display leadership skills before moving to the next level. Our wrestlers are graduated appropriately based on their development. Everyone will progress at a different rate. We get our beginner/novice wrestlers competing as soon as they’re displaying proficiency in executing necessary skills and exercising mental fortitude (we do specific things in training for this). We have a 3rd grade and under national duals team that we put together from our roster. We want all of our wrestlers to do this to prepare them for success at the next experience level here. We are able to be very inclusive so that everyone gets an opportunity to do this.

  • Training Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday – Beginners (less than 1 year experience) 4:45PM to 6PM, Intermediate/Advanced 6:15PM to 8PM.

Strength Team

Strength training is an absolute necessity for developing young people! It doesn’t matter what the sport is, our young people need to be STRONG! Physically and mentally. Please do not deny your child proper development and HIGHER QUALITY LIFE EXPERIENCE by allowing them to be physically weak. This age is CRITICAL for developing strength. We incorporate strength training in every wrestling practice but that is not enough! You must supplement outside of wrestling practice for proper development. We provide many options with enrollment in our wrestling program but we highly recommend enrolling in our coach-led program with our head novice development coach, Professor Scanlan. This program has evolved over the last 30 years of experience in developing youth strength. This is designed to be age appropriate training with a good mix of bodyweight training and light resistance training.


Details & Registration
  • Training Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday – 6 PM to 7:15 PM
  • Training Location: Leesburg, VA (address will be shared upon sign up.)
  • Equipment needed: Hand Gripper and Pull-up bar (for at-home assignments)
  • Age appropriate training tools (not limited to the following): Pullups, pushups, squats, light weight carrying, sled pushing, balance work, partner carrying, grip training, jumping, landing, obstacle training (in warmer weather conditions), core exercises
  • ROSTER LIMIT: 12 (this is a strict limit, please don’t wait around to sign up)

Hill of Champions

When everyone else is sleeping in on their Summer break, our boys and girls are turning into men and women at 6:30 in the morning. This program displays the people who are extremely committed to self-improvement. Everything about it is uncomfortable. This is where weaknesses get exposed and the real ones emerge. All ages are welcome. Leadership roles are assigned to, and required of upperclassmen.

  • Training Schedule (3x per week): Tuesday, Thursday @ 6:30 AM to 8 AM, Saturday 8 AM to 10 AM
  • Equipment needed: Gloves, bug spray, knee pads, water, and mental fortitude.
  • Training Location: Leesburg, VA (Ida Lee Park)
  • Duration: 10 Weeks of training – June 21 through August 27
  • Cost: $279
